Removal and replacement of balcony waterproofing and guardrails.
We worked closely with the engineers and consultants to remove and replace the existing waterproofing and guardrails on 108 decks. Due to the condition of the existing concrete, there was a lot of remediation work that was needed to get the concrete to an acceptable condition for the installation of the new liquid traffic coating. Using a sand-to-refusal method for the liquids, we achieved a finish on the decks that ensured the satisfaction of every tenant. The guardrails were constructed of rough-sawn cedar along with heavy custom brackets and ties that were powder-coated black to ensure the longevity of the finish.
