LEED Bright White SBS Re-Roof, IMP exterior Metal panels, Longboard, Vicwest AD200/ AD300, Interior Freezer panels.

Description

This project was a marquis project for the University as it housed art, books, artifacts the school has collected throughout the 55+ years of its history. They are preserved in a precise climate-controlled environment. The building envelope is critical for this archive and the detailing of the Air vapour barrier was of the utmost importance. Located at the Spy Hill Campus near the city limits, the building is exposed to the wind and elements which made this Fall/Winter installation much more difficult. Our teams were able to use state of the art technologies to locate and address the continuity of the Air vapour barrier. Tie-ins between the existing building as well as the roofing and cladding with precious artifacts inside made this extremely important to the project.
