Removal and replacement of liquid-applied coatings on post-tension slab roof.
The Parish roof consisted of a post-tension slab that had several failing membranes installed over the years. Due to water infiltration and the immediate risk of the post-tension becoming corroded and failing, we were tasked with finding a solution that would last. We presented a method to use a durable three-application polyurethane liquid membrane. The installation required the laborious task of removing the old membranes preparing the concrete substrate for the first epoxy coat, and providing the best adhesion for the base and topcoat installations to follow.
